St. Edward School is dedicated to the education of the total child. We strive to provide for the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development of the student.
The core curriculum is composed of Catholic Religion, reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and physical education. Enrichment classes include music, art and library. Support services for Speech Therapy and Title I are provided on campus through the Iberia Parish School Board. Although Gifted and Talented classes are not available through Iberia Parish, some students may be tested for these services by the local district and could qualify to be classified as such.
Each spring, the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT) is administered to students in grades first and second. The ACT Aspire is administered to students in third grade. The OLSAT (Otis Lennon School Ability Test), is now given in second grade.
